February 10 Today are president (Drew Ostash) of Brandon High School Pergressive Conservative Youth Association was chosen one of two PC youth members of the month. Drew started up the group on January 12 with help of Kevin Toyne. So far the group has went very well with having visitors coming in and talking to us. We are learning all about the way government should work. Our last visitor was Jim McCrae who was a PC MLA for twelve years. Sadly he was defeated by Scott Smith (NDP). He has told us that really has no intentions for running in four years. Hopefully the group will continue for that amount of time and the members then will be able to help out both MLA's in Brandon. Our school is located in Brandon East. Jim McCrae was a MLA for Brandon West. Our next meeting hopefully will be greeted from some of the PC youth members from the BU PC's. | We are a bunch of students who are young conservatives who want to make a difference in our Canadian Government.The Progressive Conservative Party of Canada is working to represent the interests of all Canadians and offer a national political alternative.
